That last truth is actually the point: the leading story of 2010 is Gods action in our world. No one talks about Gods providence and what He’s doing in the middle of the most current snow storm but only of accumulation levels, temperature level levels, school closings, and the like. We do not talk about God bringing it to pass however just of high or low pressure systems.
We can all appreciate the lists and commentaries put out concerning the top 10 stories or patterns of the previous year. Such lists offer us an opportunity to show upon triumphs, tragedies, good decisions, or mistakes. Specific events stir strong emotions when again as we relive a disastrous disaster, an amazing rescue, or an incredible survival story. We can put smaller patterns in the context of a larger movement and attempt to make proper modifications for the future. And as Christians check out the lens of Scripture, they can trace the hand of God if just typically and find a restored sense of peace in Him no matter what happens in this world.
Speaking to the distinguished theorists of Athens, Paul said this:
And yes, there are Christians who work as network broadcasters for example who cant very well provide Gods point of view when they give the news. That does not indicate that God is not the conclusive star and it does not mean that we don’t have to seek Him in it. Its because of Gods function that were forced to seek Him in the middle of whatever, including the night news.
God has determined the times and lives of men so that they would seek Him. In other words, God relocates our world so that males will seek Him. Whether the newspaper article is a volcanic eruption that covers the skies of Europe and suspends air travel, the emergence of the Tea Party, heated arguments over health care, the BP oil spill, the amazing survival of Chilean miners, continued combating in Afghanistan, a debilitating snow storm, or whatever, God is behind it all so that males would seek Him. He wants people to see the news from a different perspective – the supreme perspective – His perspective. As I watch a newspaper article I should ask myself, “What’s God doing? How should I think about Him in light of this? How can I seek Him because of His action?”
In the end, the BP oil spill was a big story, but what God was and is doing in it is more extensive. Do not forget to seek the Lord when you’re showing on the top stories of the past year. Its the most essential news and analysis you’ll ever hear.

God has made from one blood every nation of guys to harp on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their houses, so that they need to seek the Lord, in the hope that they might search for Him and find Him, though He is not far from every one people (Acts 17:26 -27).
The next time youre seeing CNN or Fox News, understand theyre not telling you the entire story; theyre not informing you the truth about God. And make no error: Im not providing you a charming method to think about the news. Everything boils down to worldview. You either have a real worldview or you do not. You see things for what they are or you miss the point.
